A complete review of traveller policy called for

South West Bedfordshire MP Andrew Selous proposed major changes to traveller planning law in the House of Commons yesterday in order to get better outcomes for settled residents and travellers.


Figures released from the House of Commons’ Library show that the number of unemployed claimants in South West Bedfordshire in October 2018 was 510. This represents a rate of 0.9% of the economically active population aged 16-64. The total number of claimants is 60 lower than October 2017.
