Community Payback is delivered as part of a community sentence where convicted offenders are required to undertake between 40 and300 hours of unpaid work. Offenders spend time working on projects including removing graffiti, clearing litter and fly-tipped rubbish, cleaning beaches, rivers and community spaces, planting trees and working in charity shops to repay their community for their crimes and learn new skills that can turn their lives around and reduce reoffending.
