The Department of Education has announced the National Funding Formula for 2022-23, South West Bedfordshire schools are set to receive an average increase of 3.1% equalling funding of £5,056 per pupil.
Primary schools in South West Bedfordshire will now receive £4,664 per pupil for an overall increase of 3.4% on funding whereas secondary schools will receive £5,548 per pupil which is a 2.7% increase.
The most notable increases are at Studham Village CofE Academy at 15.9%, Kensworth Church of England Academy at 24.7% and Hockliffe Lower School at 33.8%.
South West Bedfordshire MP, Andrew Selous, said
