An extra 20 carriages for Leighton Buzzard commuters

West Midlands Trains confirmed this week to South West Bedfordshire MP, Andrew Selous, that three of the four damaged class 350 trains have now been repaired and returned into service. In addition, two new class 319 trains will be in service in the next couple of weeks.

Increase in South West Bedfordshire applications to university

The latest Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) figures show that 32% of South West Bedfordshire 18 year-olds applied to university compared with 24% back in 2009. This compares with an application rate of 19% in Ashfield and 62% in Altrincham and Sale West.
